Dear Parents,

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you back to school on Monday 8th March 2021  – as the prevalence of Covid-19 has decreased the Government has made the decision to bring all pupils back to school.  Time out of school is detrimental for children’s development and it is vital that pupils return to school so that effective measures are put into place to catch up on missed education and promote their well-being and wider development.

From 8th March, ALL pupils must return to school unless a statutory reason applies – for example: sickness or religious observances.

We have put numerous measures into place to reduce the risk to pupils and staff which are clearly documented within the Covid-19 Risk Assessment on our website.

We shall be keeping arrangements for drop off and collection the same as during the Autumn term with one exception!

In an effort to ‘catch up’ and help pupils get back on track, I have decided to extend the school day by up to 1 hour, four days a week, for all pupils except Nursery pupils where the day remains the same as previously. This will mean that pupils will be finishing school (Monday – Thursday) an hour later than normal. They will finish at the normal time on Fridays. This arrangement will last until the end of the Spring term when we shall review it again.

Below are the specific arrangements for pupils - you will need to read and follow very carefully.
