SEND TEACHING ASSISTANT POST

Employment Type:          1 year fixed term Contract from 1st September 2022 until 20th July 2023

Hours:                                   20 hours per week (9.00am-1.00pm)

Salary:                            £10,078pa pro rota

Position Start Date:         1st September

Camrose Primary School is an exciting, friendly, multi-cultural school, where children, staff and parents learn together. We have high expectations of both children and staff and are currently looking for new members of the team.

Our teaching assistants have a wide range of skills and experience, and are expected to be able to work in any age group across the school. We are currently recruiting for two Teaching Assistants to join the team.

We are seeking to appoint teaching assistants to work one to one with children with challenging behaviour.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for send and the ability to form good relationships with children in order to engage them in education.

The successful applicant must:

 - enjoy working with children

- be emotionally intelligent, caring and flexible.

- have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to fit in with our happy hard working team

- have a good standard in literacy and numeracy skills –  (GCSE Grade C is essential)

- have good positive behaviour management strategies

- have a strong desire to develop and learn for themselves

- be committed to developing children’s learning

Teaching Assistant POST/ SMSA Post – PART TIME – combined

 Employment Type:        Permanent 

Hours:                          20 hours per week (9.00am – 1.00pm)

Salary:                         G3.9 (Annual salary of £9,638 – part time/term time only)

Position Start Date:        September 2022

The Governing Body, children and staff of our aspiring Primary School are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our well established team of support staff working across the Primary phase.
