RRSA Article 3: All organisations concerned with children should work towards what is best for the children.

Welcome Back!

Dear Parents/Carers

I’d like to welcome you all back to Camrose Primary. I hope you had and enjoyable summer break.

I’d like to begin by saying a HUGE welcome to our new families including new Reception and Nursery pupils and parents. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you and seeing the children grow and flourish during their time at Camrose.

Please remember to ensure your child is in class by 8.45am

I’d also like to ask parents whose children come to use on either a scooter or a bike, to ensure that they do not use the 'car’ gate as the entrance and that they walk with their bike or scooter once they reach the entrance gate.

This is to ensure the safety of your children and other pedestrians.

This week the 'Meet the Teacher' sessions will begin. This is a valuable opportunity to not only see your child’s new teacher but also to get an insight into what your child will be doing this year and to find out about the schools expectations first hand.

The sessions will take place in the school hall starting at 3pm.

Please check the calendar below for when your child's session is.

Year 6 pupils will be slightly different. You will be sent a 1:1 time slot to speak with the teacher. These will be held next week.

We had a very successful year last year and I have no doubt that with your continued support we will be even more successful this year.

There is already lot’s planned for, so please check the school calendar regularly.

Please remember if you have any questions or suggestions please feel free to come in and see us;

The door is always open.

Attendance

I would like to remind you about the importance of your child attending school every day and being on time.

YOUR child’s education is very important to us. We want them to succeed and be the best that they can be. To achieve this we will do all we can to ensure that they get the best possible education however; we can’t do this without YOUR support.

If your child consistently misses school or parts of lessons due to lateness then it WILL affect their education.

School starts promptly at 8.45am
