RRSA Article 3: All organisations concerned with children should work towards what is best for the children.

Uniform

As the weather is still quite changeable, children should still be wearing a winter coat to school. However, please note that boots and trainers are not part of school uniform. If you send your child to school wearing boots or trainers, please ensure that they bring a change of footwear so that they can put their shoes on when they arrive at school.

Also, I'd like to remind you that ties must be worn. If your child loses their tie, you can purchase a new one from the school office.

Girls can wear either a skirt or trousers, NOT leggings. Please expect a call from the office if you send your child with leggings.

Polo shirts are not part of the uniform, children should be wearing a 'proper' shirt with their tie and their V-necked jumper.

School uniform can be brought from Teenywear in Harrow Weald or if you would like to purchase pre-loved uniform we do hold some items in the school office.

Other notices

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated money to the Earthquake fund, we raised £735.00!!

If you are leaving a message on the school absence line, please ensure you speak clearly and slowly and include your child's full name and class.  Thank you.

School Meals

If you wish your child to change their preference for their school meal in April, please let the office know before the end of term.

Just a reminder...

...All school meals should be paid for a week in advance, (£16.00 per week).

Payments should be made online at Pay360.com.

Reminder

For the safety of our pupils, it is policy that only Year 5 or 6 children – with parent permission only, can walk home alone. However, they will not be allowed to collect and bring younger siblings with them.

If you would like your Year 5 or 6 children to walk home alone then we require written permission from yourself.

We WILL NOT consider allowing younger pupils to walk home alone or with anyone under the age of 15 years of age!

Thank you

Reception pupils really enjoyed making pancakes last week!

LOST PROPERTY

We have a mountain of lost property in the school office, including 2 pairs of children's glasses.  Please come and check to see if any items belong to your child. Please ensure that all items of clothing should be named, this way we can return items to the rightful owner.
