RRSA Article 3: All organisations concerned with children should work towards what is best for the children.

Well done!

Year 2 and Year 6 have finished their SATs.  They have all worked very hard, and I have no doubt that they will achieve the best that they can.

Well done to you all!

I’d also like to say good luck to Year 1 and 2 pupils who will be sitting the Phonics Screening test after half-term and Year 4 pupils who will sit the Multiplication test.

Please check the diary on the website for the exact dates of these tests and do not book any medical appointments during this time as the tests cannot always be re-administered at another time.

September 2024 end of school day for EYFS and KS1

As from September 2024, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will all finish school at the same time as KS2, 3.20pm.

End of Term

Just a reminder that school finishes on THURSDAY 23rd May at the usual time.

Children return to school on Tuesday 4th June 2024 at the usual time.

School Uniform

We would like to remind parents that school uniform is compulsory.

Too many children are wearing leggings to school and different colour cardigans/jumpers.

If you need help with uniforms, please come to the school office where they may have some pre-loved items in stock.

Scooters and Bikes

A polite request ...

We are asking parents and children not to ride their bikes/scooters on the school grounds. This is a matter of Health and Safety.

Thank you

A reminder from the Harrow Immunisation Team

Please can you check your child's RED book or vaccination record for the MMR status for two dates. If dates are not found please complete the            e-consent form on the following link:  https://clchschoolimmunisations.co.uk/Forms/MMR

      The school code is  CL102188

Online payments

We use 'Schoolcomms' for our online payments for clubs, trips etc.

You can download this from your app store.

* Put your email address, then press 'forgotten pin'

* Add your email address and your mobile number.  If your details are the same as we hold here in school, you will get a PIN Number sent to you, if you have changed your details, you will need to come into school to let us know so that we can sync your new details with the app.

Any problems or if you need help, please see Jenni in the office.

LOST PROPERTY

We have a huge amount of lost property in the school office, including coats!

If your child is missing an item of clothing, please come and have a look to see if it is there.  Any clothing that is left over at the end of this week will go to the local Charity shop.

Please ensure that all items of clothing and plimsolls are marked clearly with your child's name and class. This helps us to return the items to their rightful owner.

Thank you.

Uniform Donations

As we approach the end of the school year, please keep in mind that not every family is able to purchase a new uniform for their children's return in September.

If you have any unwanted uniform items that are in good condition, then please consider donating it to the school so that we can offer it to families in need.

Any items need to be washed, name labels removed, and handed in to the office.

Thank you.

The Fit4Life

A charter has been produced in conjunction with the London Borough of Harrow, the Public Health team and Harrow Education Partnership. This charter is a commitment from ALL Harrow schools to improve the health outcomes of its pupils.

As a parent of a Harrow pupil, it is expected that you uphold your section of this charter by pledging to:

  • Reduce the amount of sugary foods and drinks
  • Provide healthy snacks at the end of the school day
  • Exercise with children outside of school for at least 30 minutes a day – this could be as simple as a walk
  • Sign-up and regularly attend an NHS Dentist and ensure your child brushes their teeth at least twice a day.
  • Ensure your children are up-to-date with vaccinations
  • Talk to your children each day about how they are feeling and how their day went.

Health and Fitness must be a priority to help improve your children’s life chances.

In every newsletter we will be inserting a reminder of what we, as a school, will do to support the health and wellbeing of your child, as well as a reminder of your pledge as a parent.
