RRSA Article 3: All organisations concerned with children should work towards what is best for the children.

Well done!

Another busy year comes to an end.

It is amazing how much has been achieved by the children, staff, parents and governors in one year. It is difficult to identify the highlights because there are genuinely so many. There have been many academic, sporting and musical events, including the Summer Social where we raised a whopping £4,000.

A Fond Farewell!

It's time for goodbyes, and I'd like to begin with our Year 6 pupils.

The cohort of 2023-24 has been fantastic. True role models for the younger pupils, they have worked hard, shown determination and resilience, developing into the young adults they now are.

We are very proud of you and wish you continued success for the next stage of your education.

It’s that time of year when we sadly have to say goodbye and good luck to staff who are moving on.

We’d like to say farewell to Miss Ahmad, Miss Glen, Mr Genn and Miss Perry, who have been valuable members of our team. We’d like to wish them every success for the future!

I hope you all have a wonderful summer break and  look forward to working with you again next year or, if you will no longer have children at our school next year, we wish you and your family the very best for the future.

We use 'Schoolcomms' for our online payments for clubs, trips etc.

September clubs are available to book now.

You can download this from your app store.

LOST PROPERTY

We have a huge amount of lost property in the school office, including coats!

If your child is missing an item of clothing, please come and have a look to see if it is there.  Any clothing that is left over on Wednesday will go to the local Charity shop.

Thank you.

Uniform Donations

As it is the end of the school year, please keep in mind that not every family is able to purchase a new uniform for their children's return in September.

If you have any unwanted uniform items that are in good condition, then please consider donating it to the school so that we can offer it to families in need.

Any items need to be washed, name labels removed, and handed in to the office.

Thank you.

The Fit4Life

A charter has been produced in conjunction with the London Borough of Harrow, the Public Health team and Harrow Education Partnership. This charter is a commitment from ALL Harrow schools to improve the health outcomes of its pupils.

As a parent of a Harrow pupil, it is expected that you uphold your section of this charter by pledging to:

  • Reduce the amount of sugary foods and drinks
  • Provide healthy snacks at the end of the school day
  • Exercise with children outside of school for at least 30 minutes a day – this could be as simple as a walk
  • Sign-up and regularly attend an NHS Dentist and ensure your child brushes their teeth at least twice a day.
  • Ensure your children are up-to-date with vaccinations
  • Talk to your children each day about how they are feeling and how their day went.

Health and Fitness must be a priority to help improve your children’s life chances.

In every newsletter we will be inserting a reminder of what we, as a school, will do to support the health and wellbeing of your child, as well as a reminder of your pledge as a parent.
