RRSA Article 3: All organisations concerned with children should work towards what is best for the children.

Dear Parent / Carers,

What a great start all of our pupils have made to the new school year!

I’d like to begin by saying a HUGE welcome to our new Reception and Nursery pupils and parents. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you and seeing the children grow and flourish during their time at Camrose.

Thank you to the many parents who took the time to attend the ‘Meet the Teacher’ sessions. This was a valuable opportunity to not only see your child’s new teacher but also to get an insight into what your child will be doing this year and to find out about the schools expectations first hand.

Parents and carers have a legal responsibility to send their children to school.

I would like to remind you about the importance of your child attending school every day and being on time.

YOUR child’s education is very important to us. We want them to succeed and be the best that they can be. To achieve this, we will do all we can to ensure that they get the best possible education. However, we can’t do this without YOUR support.

If your child consistently misses school or parts of lessons due to lateness, then it WILL affect their education.

School starts promptly at 8.45am

The DfE have introduced new guidance for parents which is linked below:

Guide For Parents on School Attendance

Parent Governors

We will soon be holding elections for a new Parent Governor.

Please show your support to the school by joining our dedicated, supportive Governors.

Governors play a vital role in the development of the school and make decisions which are in the best interests of the children.

If you feel you can offer your time and want to help ensure Camrose continues to provide an excellent education for all pupils, then please see Jenni, in the School Office.
