RRSA Article 3: All organisations concerned with children should work towards what is best for the children.

Parents and carers have a legal responsibility to send their children to school.

I would like to remind you about the importance of your child attending school every day and being on time.

YOUR child’s education is very important to us. We want them to succeed and be the best that they can be. To achieve this, we will do all we can to ensure that they get the best possible education. However, we can’t do this without YOUR support.

If your child consistently misses school or parts of lessons due to lateness, then it WILL affect their education.

School starts promptly at 8.45am

The DfE have introduced new guidance for parents which is linked below:

Guide For Parents on School Attendance

Parent Governor

Congratulations to Mrs V Finn!

As the only parent nominated for the role of Parent Governor, Mrs Finn is automatically elected to this role.

This position will formally begin from 10th December 2024.

Parent Portal

The parent portal is part of the school website that allows parents to access their child's school reports.

You will need to register for this and emails have been sent to all new parents.  If you are experiencing difficulties, please come to the office and they will to help you.

School Gateway

The school gateway or Schoolcomms is the app that we use to pay for after-school clubs, trips etc.

We still have quite a few parents who have not yet registered.  Once again, if you are experiencing difficulties with doing this, please come to the school office.
