24th March 2025

RRSA Article 3: All organisations concerned with children should work towards what is best for the children.

The end of the term is fast approaching.  We are almost two-thirds of the way through the year and the Summer Term looks to be just as packed as the Autumn and Spring were!

I’d like to wish you all a very restful Easter break and look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 22nd April.

 Thank you.

In your lunch box today...

Parents, please be aware that we have a lot of children in school with severe allergies.

Packed lunch boxes will be checked daily and if your child has an item of food in there which is deemed not safe in school, you will find a note in the lunch box advising you of the item that should not be brought to school.

This is for the safety of the children.

Paying for Clubs, Trips, etc online

You will need to download the app from your app store called 'SCHOOL GATEWAY'.

When this is downloaded, add your email address where it states, then tap 'Forgotten Pin'.

On the next screen, add your telephone number.  PLEASE NOTE THAT IT MUST BE THE SAME EMAIL ADDRESS AND TELEPHONE NUMBER THAT WE HOLD ON THE SCHOOL DATABASE OR IT WILL NOT WORK.

School Gateway will then send you a text with a code, type in this code, and you are now set up to pay for trips, clubs etc online.

If you are experiencing any difficulty doing this, please come to the office to see Jenni.

The new clubs list will be sent out to parents next week.  All clubs have to be paid online.

REMINDER - MOBILE PHONES

Year 5 and Year 6 children can bring a mobile phone to school ONLY if they walk to and from school alone.  Parents should fill out a mobile phone consent form. This is available from the office.  Mobile phones should then be switched off and brought to the office where they will be kept in a locked drawer during the day.

Updating contact details and lunch and collection from school preferences

Please ensure you inform the office of any new contact details, and if you wish to change your child's lunch preference, please let the office know.

Please remember to update your 'collection from school' people with the school office.

Daily Absence

Just a reminder, you must call school every day when your child is                  absent from school.

Please speak slowly and clearly, giving your child's full name and class when leaving a message on the answer phone. Thank you
