RRSA Article 3: All organisations concerned with children should work towards what is best for the children.

It’s Christmas!

The Autumn Term is almost over and what an eventful 3 months it has been!

I’d like to thank you all for the support you have shown the school and wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

School finishes on Thursday 18th December at 1.30pm.

School begins again on Tuesday 6th January 2026.

Please ensure your child is back to school on this date.

Attendance

Please remember to call the school if your child is unwell or has an appointment or needs collecting early.  Press 1 on the answerphone, leave a clear message stating your child's full name, Class and reason for absence.

School Uniform

Please remember to write your child's name on all of their school clothing.

This makes it easier for us to find its rightful owner.

Children can wear boots to school, but they must change into more suitable footwear once they are in class.

Parking outside school

Just a reminder, it is illegal to park on the double yellow lines and zig-zags outside school.  But more importantly, it is very dangerous to park there.

Please think twice before you park. You could be endangering a child's life.

Thank you

SPORTS at Camrose

Pupils from Year 5 and 6 classes proudly represented the school last week at the Harrow Borough Indoor Athletics Tournament, competing against a wide range of schools from across the borough. The atmosphere was full of excitement and determination as our athletes took part in a variety of track and field events, including sprint relays, obstacle races, standing long jump, speed bounce, and chest push.

From the moment they arrived, the Camrose team demonstrated excellent sportsmanship and a positive attitude. Every child gave their best effort, cheering on their teammates and showing great resilience throughout the competition.

The level of competition was incredibly high, but our children rose to the challenge with confidence. Highlights of the day included some strong finishes in the track races and impressive performances during the field activities,

Camrose Gymnastics Team Shine as Runners-Up

The Camrose School Gymnastics Team delivered an outstanding performance last Friday as they competed in the Harrow Borough Gymnastics Competition. Facing talented teams from schools across the borough, our young gymnasts demonstrated exceptional skill, focus, and composure throughout the event.

Each member of the team performed a carefully practised floor routine, showcasing balance, control, and creativity. Their vault performances were equally impressive, with confident runs, strong take-offs, and clean landings that reflected hours of dedication and hard work.

The judges praised the Camrose team for their precision and teamwork, and their combined scores secured them an excellent runners-up position—a fantastic achievement in a highly competitive field. This result is a testament not only to their individual talent but also to the support and encouragement they showed one another throughout the competition.

The whole school community is incredibly proud of our gymnasts. Their commitment to training, positive attitude, and determination to perform at their best were clear for all to see.

Huge congratulations to the entire team, and thank you to the staff and families who supported them in the lead-up to the event. We look forward to seeing what these talented gymnasts achieve next!
