RRSA Article 3: All organisations concerned with children should work towards what is best for the children.

Welcome Back!

I hope you had a relaxing spring break.

The year so far has been very busy and this term is no different. SATs are fast approaching for Years 6 as well as testing for all other year groups. This is a very important time for both the pupils and the school so I’d like to take this opportunity to remind parents that attendance is vital to effective learning and good progress.

Year 6 parents: Please ensure that you do not book any appointments for your child between the 11th May and the 15th May.

Lost Property

The lost property box is full again!

Please come and have a look to see if any of the items belong to your child.

Remember to name EVERY item of clothing, including coats. This makes it so much easier for us to return items to their rightful owner.  Thank you.

School Gateway

As you know, all payments for trips, club etc should be paid online through the School Gateway.  Some parents experience difficulty accessing this. This is mainly due to the fact that they have either changed their telephone number or email address and have omitted letting us know, and because the school gateway is linked to our database it just won't work.

Therefore, please let us know of any changes to addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses.

Thank you

Library Books

Sadly, we have noticed that many of our school library books have been damaged, lost and unreturned. We would like to remind you that it is your child's responsibility to look after the library books and keep them in good condition.

When books get damaged they can’t be used any more because then the pages are broken, ripped, wet, stained, stuck together or scribbled on with a pen. The words and pictures in the books can’t be seen clearly.

Please could you encourage your children to take good care of the school library books, and keep them in a safe place at home or in their tray or box in the school classroom.

It is important to return library books to the library every week.

If your child accidentally loses or damages a library book, please check your child's bag for a reminder letter and bring a payment for the lost/damaged book to the school office. We will use this money to buy new books.

If the replacement fee is not made, your child will not be able to borrow any more books from the school library until the payment is made.

Thank you for your continued support.

A Fond Farewell!

We sadly say goodbye and good luck to Miss Brooks who is leaving us on Friday after almost 5 years at Camrose.  We thank her for the contribution she has made to our school and the pupils and wish her every success for the future!
