RRSA Article 3: All organisations concerned with children should work towards what is best for the children.

Dear Parents,

I must start by saying well done to all of our amazing Year 1, Year 4 and Year 6 children who have all worked really hard during the recent tests. I have no doubt that their focus and determination to do their best will ensure they are successful in being the best that they can be. Once the official results are released individual families will be informed as part of the end of year teacher report.

I’d like to say a big thank you to all the staff for preparing the children so well for these assessments.

Hot Weather

As the warmer weather arrives, particularly this week, we have initiated our hot weather plan. This includes allowing pupils to wear their PE kits to school, shortened lunch breaks and outdoor games lessons and regular water breaks in class time.

We ask that you apply sunscreen to your children and send them to school with a sun hat and a water bottle. There is mains water available in every class so pupils can fill up their bottles.

SUNSHINE!

With the beautiful summer sunshine comes the need to take precautions.

SUN CREAM

We recommend that you apply sun cream to your child/ren before they come to school. If that is not possible then they must be able to apply it themselves as each teacher cannot be responsible for applying sunscreen to 30 children!

SUNHAT

We also suggest a named sunhat is put in your child’s bag and is in school each day, along with a bottle of water.

SUNGLASSES

Children are allowed to wear sunglasses, if necessary, while outside on the playground. They also must be named. Please be aware the school is not able to take responsibility for lost or broken glasses.

Lost Property

The lost property box is full again!

Please come and have a look to see if any of the items belong to your child.

Remember to name EVERY item of clothing, including coats. This makes it so much easier for us to return items to their rightful owner.  Thank you.

School Gateway

As you know, all payments for trips, club etc should be paid online through the School Gateway.  Some parents experience difficulty accessing this. This is mainly due to the fact that they have either changed their telephone number or email address and have omitted letting us know, and because the school gateway is linked to our database it just won't work.

Therefore, please let us know of any changes to addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses.

Thank you

Year 6 Girls' Football Match

On Friday 5th June, our Year 6 girls' football team played a fantastic match against a school from Brent. The game ended in a hard-fought 1–1 draw, with both teams showing great skill and determination.

Our girls displayed excellent teamwork, strong defending and some brilliant attacking play throughout the match. They represented the school with pride, resilience and outstanding sportsmanship, making us all proud.
